Send a nurse to the field and you’re sending a healthcare provider, an administrator, an educator, and a professional who is able to adapt to the many varied and unexpected demands that come with working in the field. MSF nurses do everything from setting up health centres to running vaccination programs. They provide pre- and post-natal care to mothers and their babies, run feeding centres and provide basic and emergency health care. In the many countries where we work, MSF nurses also train and supervise local staff, ensuring their ability to provide skilled healthcare for patients once their training is complete. Your gift provides transportation, training, travel documents, vaccines and lodging for one nurse.
